Raytheon provides the FIRSTplus Air Traffic Control Training Simulator to the World Indoor Airport at the Metropolitan State College of Denver

RICHMOND, BC, June 30 /CNW/ - Raytheon Canada Limited has been selected
by the Metropolitan State College of Denver (MSCD) to supply the FIRSTplus Air
Traffic Control (ATC) Simulation System to its Aviation and Aerospace Science
Department.
The FIRSTplus system includes six training positions, which provide
realistic and detailed simulation for radar, 2D tower, ground, procedural,
terminal, and en-route ATC training. Raytheon provided software, training, and
support to incorporate the system into the Aerospace Science Department's
World Indoor Airport, a unique flight simulation laboratory that features more
than 20 flight simulators serving its extensive aviation program.
Capable of rapid training scenario creation for the specific ATC training
needs of the MSCD Aviation & Aerospace Department, FIRSTplus provides the
World Indoor Airport with a powerful and cost effective training system.
"The FIRSTplus system was chosen in part because of its advanced levels
of simulation incorporated by Raytheon's extensive ATC simulation experience,"
said World Indoor Airport Manager T.J. De Cino. "This system will play a
significant role in the education of our students, considerably enhancing the
existing simulation training environment already available in the World Indoor
Airport."

Raytheon Canada Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company,
has more than 1400 employees throughout Canada who serve the aerospace and
defence sectors with a broad range of high technology products and services.

Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), with 2003 sales of USD $18.1 billion, is an
