Major U.S. mortgage lender selects MDA
RICHMOND, BC, Oct. 6 /CNW/ - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.
(TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today
that MDA Lending Solutions has signed a contract with a leading US mortgage
lender to provide them with a comprehensive property information search
solution as part of the customer's lending process. MDA Lending Solutions is
the first of only two national providers selected to integrate into the
customer's loan origination workflow.
The contract is part of the lender's plan to transition from multiple
independent vendors not integrated in the workflow, to two information
partners who are integrated. As a key partner in this process, MDA Lending
Solutions is leveraging its resources and technology to increase loan
origination productivity.

new business helps to reaffirm our strategy to integrate our data and
information solutions directly into the customer's workflow in order to
provide our customer with a cost effective solution to their property
