How do I configure Internet Explorer for a PC?
- Click on Tools, located on the IE 5 toolbar.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click the Security Tab.
- Click on the Custom Level button.
- Configure the six categories by following the directions below:
- Active X Controls and Plug-ins - Enable Download signed ActiveX,
Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins, and Script ActiveX controls
marked safe for scripting
- Cookies - Enable both options in this category
- Downloads - Enable File Download
- Miscellaneous - Set Software Channel to Medium
- Scripting - Enable all options in this category
- Skip the last category
- Click OK.
- Click the Advanced Tab.
- Locate the Browsing category.
- Check the following option:
- Disable script debugging.
- Uncheck the following options:
- Display a notification about every script error.
- Reuse windows for launching shortcuts.
- Click Apply.
- Select the General Tab.
- Click the Settings button (button is located in the
Temporary Internet Files category).
- Click the option marked - Every visit to the page.
- Click OK.
- Click the Delete Files button (button is located in the
Temporary Internet Files category).
- Click OK.
- Click the Apply button located at the bottom.
- Click OK.
- Click the Refresh icon on the Tool bar and try the broadcast
again.
